Business success is built on market intelligence. If you know what's happening inside a target company or sector, who is changing jobs, what new products are being launched, which contracts have been won by whom, who is growing and who is in difficulty and what your competitors are doing - and if you know those things as they happen rather than days or weeks down the line - you have a much better chance of seizing the opportunity to sell.
